Divisions of Our Farm

Wild Blueberries

flourish in Nova Scotia, certainly in the areas of Gore and Parrsboro where over 400 of our blueberry fields are located.

We have been farming Wild Blueberries for over 60 years and have created a delicious "Wild for You" product line!

The forests in Gore offer a variety of species from Spruce, Maple, Hemlock, Birch, Ash, Poplar and Oak.

We selectively cut our wood lots for sustainablity and mill the lumber in Gore for our needs and custom orders.

In 1995 we started  building

trails behind the farm.  Since then, this trail system has grown into one of the largest in Atlantic Canada known as the Empire Trails.

Mountain Biking with friends led to racing events, and many other exciting events and activities.

Dairy and Beef

cows have been key contributor to our livelihoods and the growth of our family farm.

Respecting the relationship between farmer and animal is one of our core values and driver for producing quality products.

Renewable energy sources are becoming more and more important with climate change and global warming proving to be true.

In 2015, we started construction of a Bio-gas plant which was completed in 2019.  This new plant compliments our farm and provides electricity to 300 homes.
